Fighting for the Safety and Rights of Every Child The theme at the heart of the 2025 National Children's Month celebration is "OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!" or, in English, "End Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM): Fight for the Safety and Rights of Children!" This slogan points out the call for immediate action to save children from the hostile world of online exploitation and abuse. Today, children live in a world filled with the internet, which, while it opens their doors to learning and communication, also presents them with stark risks. Many youngsters have fallen prey to predators who prey on their innocence and vulnerability. Such a theme calls on all stakeholders-parents, schools, communities, and government-to join forces in making life safer for every child. Awareness, vigilance, and a sense of responsibility from all strata of society ar...

Reflection BLOGPOST 5

The second quarter is almost over, and I would like to take some time to reflect back on what I have learned and experienced. This quarter, I had learned several new things at school. I had better understood my lessons and excelled in areas that were difficult for me previously. I also learned to manage my time, meet deadlines with my work, and pay attention to my studies. I discovered that we can learn outside the classroom as well, such as by conversing with people and learning from our errors. In this quarter, I encountered a few problems this quarter. I tended to feel very exhausted due to too much schoolwork and other tasks that I had to complete. There were a few times that I didn't even want to study or do my homework. It was difficult to remain motivated all the time. To solve these problems, I began to make notes on what I had to do daily. This help me in recalling my tasks and completing them before time. Additionally, I inquired from my friends or teachers when I did not...

Teachers Day Celebration BLOGPOST 4

Guided by Hearts: A Tribute to Our Teachers Teachers are heroes that make us better persons. They guide us daily and educate us about right and wrong. Even when we err, they are kind and patient. They provide us with hope, courage, and encouragement to pursue our dreams. That is the reason I think teachers are real heroes in life. I am really grateful to my teachers for all that they do. They come early in the morning and stay late into the evening just to teach us. As a show of respect, I attempt to conduct myself well in class and perform well at school. Occasionally, I write thank-you notes or utter sweet words to make them smile. A plain "thank you" can go a long way to make them happy. Teachers play a huge role in our life. They don't expect any reward, but they should be given every love and respect we can offer. Without teachers, we wouldn't have the future we wish for. I will always be proud of teachers and grateful for their efforts. To me, every teacher is...

CLIMATE CHANGE RESILIENCY OF FILIPINO    Climate change is happening now.  Evidences  being seen  support  the fact that the change cannot simply be explained by natural variation. The most recent scientific assessments have confirmed that this warming of the climate system since the mid-20th century is most likely to be due to human activities; and thus, is due to the observed increase in greenhouse gas concentrations from human activities, such as the burning of fossil fuels and land use change. Current warming has increasingly posed quite considerable challenges to man and the environment, and will continue to do so in the future. Presently, some autonomous adaptation is taking place, but we need to  consider a more   pro-active  adaptation planning in order to ensure sustainable development. You can s...
